“I really like this photo of my aunt’s prom. The white dress is a common inside joke in our family, I hope you enjoy it!”
Oh, we do.
The one gauze sleeve + white lace Madonna gloves make the white dress just THAT much different from a wedding dress. Sort of. But paired next to the “traditional” egg-yolk-colored silk dress, you really have a special combination. I’m kind of surprised the hair wasn’t bigger on either of these girls, though. Maybe Brazil was more tamed than the states in ’85? (Hard to imagine.)
Um, also? I LOVE the black-and-red frame. Hot.
Most of all (beyond the “egg” theme, that is), I LOVE LOVE LOVE the live band on the stage. I love that there are bongos. I love that there’s a woman in ANOTHER white dress with a slit up to Munchkin Land. I love that there’s a foot-tall “fence” to keep the band members from falling off, which looks to be a giant safety hazard itself.
If only we could hear them.

ohh thank you for making this happen!! hahhahahahha we loled hard here!! my mom is going to show that to my aunt this weekend, she will burst!! by the way, their hair wasn’t bigger ’cause they are half japanese half italian (very “mafia”hu?) so, even with perms and stuff their hair always came down….they wished fluffier hairs thoug!
Gurl, if I was in your place I would tell my dad that I loved him but I didn’t wanna go to the dance with a date. I would be much more happier with my frednis. If he asks you why, tell him you don’t like any boy and you don’t want misunderstandings, you just want to have a good time with your frednis. If your dad doesn’t really let you go to the dance without a date then take one of your guy frednis, or your best guy friend but let the boy know from the beggining that you’re not into him, not that way, you just invited him because he is a good friend.
“Munchkin land” FTW!!
