Three Little Maids

I love this photo from fellow blogger SassyMonkey who, it turns out, is the monkey in the middle of the picture.
Unlike our usual parade of teenagers wearing variations of the same dress in the same color, these three could not look more different. Well, they could not look more different in their dress selections (which, sadly, are perfectly lovely and appropriate). The fact that they are standing exactly the same way makes me think a parent was involved. “LOOK NATURAL! BUT PUT YOUR HANDS TOGETHER! NO, NOT LIKE THAT, LIKE THIS.”
And for some reason — possibly because I know that SassyMonkey is Candian — they all look chilly.
But here’s my question: Do we think the girl all the way on the left is wearing white shoes, too? We think she might be, yes? And we know how I feel about pairing with white, right? Like this girl? Who gives the impression of maybe being a hooker?
I’m not saying that Sassy or either of her two friends look like streetwalkers. I’m just saying Pairing With White is a dangerous road to walk down. Yes, even in Canada.
